French Alps 2004: Trip Detail

Our beautiful home for the 8 nights is in the French village of Peillonnex, France. This awesome home sleeps 25 people comfortably. View the information and brochure below for detail.

Includes/Exlcudes

The price includes:

airport transfers in the USA (from COS)
round trip airfare, with all taxes & surcharges
lodging for 8 nights at the house in France
group ground transportation in Europe (vans we are renting throughout)
some food costs (European-style breakfast each morning)
a great time together

The expenses that are not included are:

ski rental & lift tickets
side attractions one may choose to visit (many free)
other transportation (rent a car, train)
other meals / food

A $300 deposit is due when you register, with the final payment due the 2nd week of January. Precise payment & cancellation dates will be clearly spelled out in the brochure, which will be ready shortly. You may wait for the brochure with the reservation form attached, or you may send in your deposit with your pertinent information before that if waiting makes you nervous.

Since people will be doing different things while there, it is very difficult to plan any evening meals, so we have left that up to you. Some people will be at the slopes, while others will be sightseeing. Local restaurants, restaurants en route during your day's travels, or buying food to prepare at the house are all options to consider. This also helps you control your budget.

Where: Peillonnex, France (in the foothills of the French Alps)...
- ½ hour from Geneva, Switzerland
- 1 hour from Italy
- ½ hour from world-class skiing
- about 3½ hours by train to Paris
Who: Christian Singles and friends from COS and affiliated churches.
How: We have secured a fabulous house in the village mentioned above and are in the process of negotiating airline and ground transportation arrangements.
Additional Information: Space will be limited to the first 25 people, since this is the # of people the house can comfortably accommodate.
